Manage your Gmail account using two-factor authentication and your App password.
1. Login into the Gmail account.
2. Click on your profile image and select “Manage your Account”.
3. From the left navigation, select “Security”.
4. Under “How to sign in to Google”, select 2-Step Verification. You will be prompted to enter your account password to enable this setting.
5. Now that 2-factor authentication is On, the HALO will need an App password. Use the search bar at the top of the page to search for “App passwords”.
6. Name App password “HALO” and select [Create].
7. Use the generated App password in the HALO SMTP settings.
8. Copy this generate App password to your HALOs SMTP email Password field.
9. Click [Save & Test Connection] and confirm Email Status displays as OK.
